Last Chance
Controls, dashes and hero abilities, modes, the Onslaught and victory. A beginner guide to your first runs in Last Chance.
WASD or arrows — move, attacks fire on their own; Space — an invulnerable dash (cooldown 5 s); E — the hero's Ability (Sim-Sim: “Shadow Double”). Esc — pause with settings and “Restart”.
Joystick — move, attacks fire on their own; “DASH” — an invulnerable dash (cooldown 5 s); the bottom-right button — the hero's Ability (Sim-Sim: “Shadow Double”). Ⅱ — pause with settings and “Restart”.
Three heroes are ready at once; feats unlock the rest — the goal is written under the name. Each has their own attack and Ability; a Skin changes only the look.
Waves, then the Onslaught (Standard: 15 + 5 min) and the final Overlord. It does not clear the field. After a victory — “Return to Camp” or “Continue the Onslaught”: +5 levels at once and endless waves (not in Hardcore). Death keeps the loot (Hardcore: 70%), a retreat keeps 0%.

Quick — 10 + 2 min, slots 2·2·2, 1 Synthesis, gold ×0.6
15 minutes of waves, 5 minutes of Onslaught and the final Overlord. The classic run.
Standard — 15 + 5 min, slots 3·2·3, 2 Syntheses, gold ×1
8 minutes of frequent waves and 2 minutes of Onslaught. More mobs, and tougher; temporary buffs drop less often. No Skulls and no endless Onslaught.
Hardcore — 8 + 2 min, slots 2·1·1, no Syntheses, gold ×1.6; no Skulls, no Endless Onslaught, 70% of the reward on death
12 minutes of waves, 2 minutes of Onslaught and the Overlord. Enemies are tuned for an upgraded Legacy; combat Legacy upgrades (damage, health, armor, regeneration, speed) work 3 times stronger here.
Legacy — 12 + 2 min, slots 3·2·3, 2 Syntheses, gold ×1.4; Legacy upgrades ×3
Gold buys permanent upgrades for every hero. Dawn Shards are saved separately for skins; achievements and hidden feats help you earn them.
Gold buys permanent upgrades for every hero, up to rank 100. Each ten ranks give about +10% of the upgrade's full power; rank 100 adds a final bonus. Skulls live here too: one revive per run (not in Hardcore).
Shards from runs and achievement stars buy Skins. Put on a bought Skin with “Equip” — it never changes your power.
Choose a hero, gather experience and combine weapons with tomes. Survive the waves, endure the Onslaught and face the World's Overlord.
